Continuing on with our version of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” to make your move festive, the next line in the original is: “On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me three French hens.

Please join me in now singing our Christmas carol:

“On the third day of Christmas, London gave to me…

sweet FRENCH CREPES…”

It only takes a glance at a world map to see France’s close proximity to England, but if you aren’t looking to shell out the pounds or euros to catch the Eurostar to Paris, you can still tuck into some authentic French cuisine, right here. The link above offers a list of recommended creperies around town; hopefully wherever you rent, there won’t be one far away (oh, and if you’re American, bear in mind that “pancake” is not the equivalent of “American pancake,” as you’ll see specified on menus at a few restaurants like Balans). Bon appetit!

And now, to continue caroling:

“…a pub named Dove,
and a Partridge’s Kraft Mac-n-Cheese.”
