Once you’re settled you need to go out and have some fun! The last thing you want to do after your relocation is to forget that you are in one of the most exciting and tourist friendly cities in the world. You should make the time to immerse yourself in the city and everything she has to offer before you settle into your new job and home.

Tourist Guide

Finding your way around can be confusing after your relocation. It is a complicated city, full of winding roads that twist and turn in a seemingly random pattern. Many modern cities are laid out in a grid format which makes them easy to navigate. Not so London. The city has grown up over centuries, expanding and growing each year.

If you want to get a good idea of how the city is laid out, you should spend a morning soon after moving  here, and visit the London Eye for some special fun.

Fun At the London Eye

The London Eye is the largest Ferris wheel in Europe and was built to form a part of the Millennium celebrations in the city. In a few short years it has become one of the iconic symbols of London and has featured in a number of films and television series.

In summer, the London Eye can be crowded and the queues are very long. Consider investing in a London Pass, which allows you to skip the queues and pay quite a bit less for your ticket. Each trip on the Eye lasts for around 30 minutes and offer unsurpassed views of the city. From the London Eye you can see as far as Hampton Court Palace in Kew and the landmarks in London really stand out from a different perspective. Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the tower of London stretch out along the river Thames and you will get a fantastic view of the green areas and large parks that make this city so special.

If you want to make an occasion of it after the stress is over, you can take one of the night tours for some spectacular fun. It’s much less crowded and the views are just as spectacular.
